Test fitted my projectors. I'm in love with the mini turbine shroud! Now time to prep the housing and shroud for painting!

So I got my CVJ axles installed, also lower back joints. Ended up having to do my tie rod ends which wasn't too bad. Finished everything up this morning. Only place I could get an alignment today was farm n fleet. They did say that my caster n camber bolts were seized..also included pics of the current cv angles.

I was going to use the mini turbine shrouds but you have to use the 7.0 mini h1 projectors and I wanted the 4.0 d2s projectors. Looks good!

Here are a couple of pics of the fresh Raptor Liner, followed by a make shift bed mat to use for ice fishing (so sled, auger, etc don't beat it up).

My father in law had an old bed liner from a full size that was being thrown out. I just cut it down to fit.
Function over form in this case. bedliner 2.jpgbedliner.jpg

Not bad at all. under 1 hour total. Created a template from painters paper. Getting that just right took some time but once that was done, cutting the actual mat was simple

It's not hard, just time consuming. Lots of sanding and prep work.
    Rolling bedliner isn't that difficult

I did all the prep work and didn't take any shortcuts (several nights worth of work). It was a lot of work to ensure ALL surfaces, cracks, corners etc were sanded and de-greased. Then I used etch primer to ensure strong adhesion. When the prep was done, I brought the truck over to my father in laws to do the actual spraying (he is an auto body guy) . He used the U-POL spray gun. it was a pretty quick job once it was masked off. He laid it on quite thick. 5 bottles in all which is more than standard for such a small box. It turned out flawless.
