Marathon pork butt. 14 hours in, about to be done. Impressed with this wsm, it chugged along at 230-240 all night, and is still going.

Never thought I'd say this but that bacon weave would look even better if the weave wasn't so tight :D

Was hoping to go slower but even with everything closed up we were well done in two hours. First time using Pitfaced rub on beef.

Busy day working around the house, but got it started right with bacon :D

Threw my little mini brisket flat on a few hours ago. Due to high temps outside and a steady breeze I've had a hard time keeping the grill under 250. Worst case this thing might be a little dry, put sauce on it and make a taco or sammich I reckon. Time will tell, excited to see how my first attempt at smoking some beef turns out

I'm in the same boat as you, if I close the vents any more I'm pretty sure I'm just going to choke it down too much. First time using Pitfaced as well

No smoking today but used the BGE and Dutch oven to fashion up a passel of gołąbki with the addition of a couple garden fresh Jalapenos.

1-3/4 lbs beef chuck ground at home
1/2 lb of pork ground at home
6 garden fresh Jalapenos ground with the meat
    S&P, Hungarian paprika to taste
    2 table spoons parsley
2 medium onions & 2 toes garlic choipped and sautéed in olive oil and butter
    2 eggs
1 cup par boiled jasmine rice
    2 large heads of cabbage
    1 can of crushed tomato's

Also dehydrating clementine's, mangos and habaneros

    This thread inspires me :hungry:

Smoked some wings, homegrown jalapeno poppers and tofu (not for me :der:) over some cherry today for dinner. Pitfaced rub taste great on everything, even tofu:cookiemonster:!! Came out pretty good for my first attempt at wings/chicken.

@Misplaced Nebraskan These ears are for you-

    corn in fire.jpg

My favorite way to cook corn on the cob. Soaked in water for 8 hours and then straight on to the coals.

    Perfect sweet smokey goodness.
