GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

That's one of my favorite spots to camp. I camped there over night on my way back down from picking up my 2002 Tacoma last week and there were some guys shooting guns out in the field. They invited me to come over and shoot with them. I did 600 miles coming from Bristol, to Pisgah National Forest, Nantahala National Forest and then to Hawk mountain for the final night before going home. Hit lots of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Cherohala Skyway. Just slept in the back of the truck each night. It was a good way to get acquainted with my new ride. Here is a photo a Hawk Mountain where I crashed for the night.

 

That's one of the best spots up there. That's where we will be next weekend if you wanna join up

 

Thanks for the invite man, unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to head up there anytime soon. Nice truck by the way. Kind of the route I wanna go with mine. My truck is a daily driver but I wanna build it up a bit to be a little more off road capable. What model camper top do you have? I'm pretty sure I want to get rid of the high rise on mine.

 

I always post up here when we go in case somebody wants to join up. Thanks it's a work in progress. Uh I know it's a Leer but that's all I know of. Yeah I don't like the high rise ones as much

Anyone around Woodstock know the guy with the sweet 4th Gen SAS 4Runner? It is silver on 40ish tires with tube bumpers. I have seen it a few times on 92 and 575

I never see it parked so I can stalk it

 

Yeah he's not on here, he's on the Facebook group Atlanta 4Runners. But the rig is super sweet! Extremely well built, he loves off of Sixers road somewhere

He just moved about 1-2 months ago to here. Used to live out west

 

That makes sense. I have been wanting to invite him to try out the rock course I built in my back yard last year. It is perfectly built for the 4Runner wheelbase. Taco's don't fair so well, but the invite is out there to anyone on here. I will have to get some pics

 

How big is your back yard to have a rock course? That's got to be awesome.

Your best way would be to upload them directly to here. Recently one of the image hosting websites decided to charge for it and it ruined a lot of pictures in peoples builds/writeups
