So I am having an issue with extreme taco lean.

My driver's side front shock blew out a week ago. I rebuilt it today and also swapped both front coils to 700 pounds (from very worn 600 pound coils). All shocks are at 200 PSI. All tires are at 40 PSI. Body mounts look good - nothing obviously crushed / broken / uneven. Leaf springs look normal.

Yet in order to sit level, with a full tank of gas, I am putting zero inches of preload on the passenger side spring and 2" on driver side spring. That just seems excessive to me and I am trying to find another culprit.

I know you mentioned the body mounts but did you look at the core support body bushing too ?

My body mounts looked perfectly fine, core support seem a bit worn. Either way replaced them all with poly mounts and got rid of a 1" lean that I couldn't do away with by adjusting preload.

Taco lean is just built into these trucks I think. Did my body mounts recently, that helped a little bit. Thought it might be unevenly worn out leafs, but now they are brand new and it still leans. Put the truck on jack stands from the frame on a level surface and measured to the ground and the drivers side was consistently about 1/4" lower than the passenger side from the cab back. So either I bent my frame somewhere along the line, or it came like that. I run about 3/4" more preload on the drivers side coil over to level it out in the front, but when you look from the rear it is noticeable.

I know my leafs are specific in that one has more arch to accommodate the lean. I do run slightly more preload in the drivers side as well.

Yep like I said, I think it's built into the trucks. It's a taco and will have taco lean

Look up archive garage. They have 14 inch brackets that are underneath the bed. The TC brackets only allow for 10.5 inches of travel where as archive you can get 14s!
