My better half got it done for me for my birthday. She surprised me by having a pro do it. Super clean and professional-looking.

I had to connect mine differently then some others that have done this. I got a lot of inspiration from @inesshell but when it came to connecting the intake tubing, I had to go a different route since I had an after market k&n intake kit. The throttle body lines up perfectly with the existing hole in the inner fender wall. I had to cut out the hole a little bit just because the tubing came in a little higher than the hole. I had to cut down the k&n intake tubing to make it straight (it was S shaped before) and had to retain the MAF sensor. Then I had to install an inline air filter.

yeah nothing comes easy with these made to fit installs. Im really happy with mine and the temperatures im getting. Im glad some of my write up helped you out man. Bought a prefilter for mine that has yet to come to deal with some of the conditions we get driving up here in the fall and winter.

Greased my UCA's today. Always has to be something though. On the passenger side I don't think I was supposed to loosen the bolt all the way because the bushing started to come out!! Had to use a clamp and a screw driver to push it back in.. driverside was super easy though. Got it all back together and rotated the tires while I was at it.

Yup. The local mom and pop Ace cuts keys WAY better than Lowes or HD do.

I had a few spare non chip keys cut just to have. They took the time to cut the key then go test each one in the door to be sure it worked before I left.

I put 2oo miles on the new wheel bearing today.

However, now that the horrible humming noise it gone, I can hear the noise the other one is making. Its a barely audible hum that goes away when you turn to the left and comes back when going straight.

I plan on ordering another bearing assembly to do the passenger here soon.

Preemptively, I ordered 2 new CV dust seals so I have them when I replace the passenger side bearing. Unfortunately, I have to pull the driver side axle back out and replace the CV dust seal on that side since I didnt have the replacement when I did the bearing. Not to concerned about this though because I can have the axle out and back in in less than an hour. Plus I plan on doing new tie rod ends and sway bar end links, so Ill do that all at the same time.

Well I got really tired of staring at my the chrome on the front of my truck so I found a Satoshi grille that wasn't in the best shape and painted it to match in my buddy's shop. What do you guys think? No emblem, white Toyota emblem, or the red badge in the corner?
