    I know you hate it... I dated a girl who's dad was a ups driver. Been doing it his whole life by that point. He'd had 2 knee replacements, worked his ass off during the season, and took care of his wife and daughter. He was a damn workhorse. I hated the season too back then, just for what all he had to deal with. I hope you get one of those other positions brother. Yall deserve all the good that can come to you.

    It was a holiday thing. I used to temp carry at USPS many years ago. Craziest was delivering on base during the holidays.

    Usps is going to blow this holiday season, in my area we already carry ~120 parcels a day with a standard mail route making it a 9-10 hr day, on sundays the longest day I've had was 08:00-23:15 without the holiday rush.
    I swear this Amazon contract is going to kill our office, almost all of our carriers are working 60-65 HR weeks and we still fall behind on mail.
