Yeah I've talked to two GC's so far.

A third is hopefully coming by tomorrow.

And I can do all the flooring, painting and trim work. Possibly the bathroom fixtures too although I'd entertain someone more qualified to do that.

Is that using Chevy 63s or just a typical long travel setup?

Do Dakars get enough flex to justify extended shock mounts? Good info to have since I"m about to install some dakars myself!

Maybe not all 14 inches unless you do shackle flip and +7 brake lines. Then you will get a lot of travel

So, do people actually take their 1/4" drive ratchet stuff in their recovery kits?

I'll use the 1/4 mostly for junk yard trips and such to get into tight spaces....plus my OCD says all the sockets need to be on the same kind of storage system!

I have @lobsterbait ecgs tool, but I no longer need it. I don't think he minds if people use it as long as he has tabs on where it is.

Have you had plans drawn up and your structural plan put together yet? If you do that separate from a GC you could save some money that way

Thanks. I have not had the structural or plans drawn up.

Spoke to one architect so far. They're in the $5000 ball park for that service.
