    my bad, finalist.

and yes it's always an embarrassment to have your offense held like that, I'll always admit that game was embarrassing. I knew it was a loss when it was announced, then when Jordan Jefferson was never pulled I was just irritated. Oh well, it happens. I remember plenty of embarrassing Shula years for Alabama.

LOL @ the comparison b/w Shula teams and a team playing for the NC, but if that's something that makes you feel better, make the jab.

not comparing them. just simply saying teams have their embarrassments.

bammers sure are difficult to discuss anything with..

Just pointing out the lopsided comparison. I'm not sure why that makes me difficult to discuss anything with. I'm not the one insulting other people's intelligence.

I think if you asked anybody whose been in these football threads for a few years, you'll find that I'm about as level-headed a bammer as you'll find.

I didn't insult your intelligence. I said you may not be smart enough, with the consensus of self proclaimed bammers typically being around the same level of intelligence in my experiences.

Again, it wasn't a comparison, simply a statement that embarrassments happen.

As you can see above, the MSU fan who's team put a WHOOPING on my LSU Tigers has been fairly simple to talk to and also not trying to justify any opinions from the past. Respectful with the win, and understanding of the future possibilities now. That's the difference in a fan that's good to discuss football with, and a bammer.

That was one of the greatest defensive wars in years. Tigers have a good chance to win if the starting QB is playing, someone remind us why J Jefferson started?

Truth. I loved Les in the SEC, and he seems like a genuinely good guy, but he made some mind-numbingly stupid calls.

Exactly how many 5 star defensive players do they have? So LSU's defense is the only one that has such players and not only that, none are better? Is that what I'm reading?

he's a TV personality for sure, great guy, and great character...terrible coach. he thrived off the talent hot-bed that is Louisiana and the fact that he could recruit, but he could never develop.

lol I agree with this. LSU doesn't have the biggest, strongest, fastest, or highest rated players. this year they're young...really young...

I don't know who your team is, but good luck when you play the Tigers. You'll see when they come off the bus!
