Not worth the $$$ if I'm not going LT IMO. I thought about it. I just want to get everything up to snuff! Suspension is still up in the air overall.

    Strong bushing area.

Today :spy: I ordered something(s) else today as well. Wont be here for a few days though.
Well I can always upgrade later once funds stabilize and I decide what I want to do for sure. I just want to get everything running smoothly first. I'm chasing around a gremlin or two so I'm in cleanup mode and will address this later. Once I decide to make a move you'd better believe I'll hit you up for some options/opinions.

Truck got some much needed TLC this weekend. Myself and @bigstik wrenched on the truck for about 7 hours getting everything done. That said, here is what all was completed:
    • LR UCA Ball joints replaced with new greasable design (joints were starting to make noise on both sides) - Both sides
    • LCAs replaced with Moog arms - Both sides - Will likely rebuild the stock LCAs as well with poly bushings for if I ever need them and/or resell on TW if I ever get rid of the rig
    • LCA bolts replaced (sleeves were nice and seized in there)
    • Driver's side hub replaced ( Thanks @nj636 ) - I bought one as insurance. Once we took everything apart it was apparent that the one needed replaced for sure.
    • Carrier bearing replaced (more involved than I anticipated it would be as getting the carrier bearing off of the driveshaft proved difficult, but we managed)
    • Stainless steel extended brake lines installed on rear end - In anticipation of hopefully funds coming through for a little extra travel down the road :spy:
No more clunks or noise of any kind from the front end :woot:! Platform has been reset and ready for upgrading. Now I can get this thing aligned and ready for the ever beautiful SCS Ray 10s and the new tires that I have sitting around. Next on the to-do list is to clean up some of the surface rust I have on the spindles and UCAs + other misc areas on the truck. Considering the age + 2 winters in MN it actually isn't too bad in the rust department. Lots of surface rust, but nothing that is concerning in the way of a real issue, which is marginally refreshing, but I wouldn't turn down a new frame. Would all but solidify me owning this thing for a very long time.

Few other things in the works, but $$$, so we lie in waiting for a moment to pounce.

I think the most satisfying thing you can do is replace a worn wheel bearing. After replacing mine it was like driving a caddy. No more growl, no more vibes, no more squeaks in reverse. Ahhhhhhhh the good life

Mine were so worn that people could hear it through the phone when I'd try to take a phone call while driving
