    Truth!!
Thing is after you lose someone everybody talks about how great they were even if they weren't.
But Tom's quote above absolutely describes Andre to a T! I'm just glad that I have great stories to tell about him around the campfire.

Andre was seriously one of the best people I know. He was always there for all of his friends at the drop of a dime. He was one of @blackhawke88 and my best friends.

He is so so loved and so many people are absouteley devistated today. He made so many people's lives better and would have continued to do so - he was applying for nursing school programs this year.
It doesn't make any sense. I can't even comprehend that he's gone.

For the record the accident was not his fault. It was the other riders fault, who also lost his life. Not that it truly matters - there are two families grieving the loss of someone too young today.

Andre was a wonderful guy. We have been on several rides together and lots of off-roading prior to the both of us getting into motorcycles. He was always willing to stay and hang out when people were wanting to call it a day. He was the only guy I'd go on street group rides with. When I went on my first ride with him, he introduced me to the group and made me feel really welcome. He did the same thing at my first Tacomaworld meet over 6 years ago. Never felt lonely around him.

    Andre, you will be missed.

No way it was one of our members? I'm up North right now and I heard the news 1 fatality on Angeles Crest Highway which is the only place I ride and 2 on Ortega. Prayers and deepest sympathies go out to all those effected.

That's the MAIN reason if I ride up the mountain stupid early 8AM at the latest. All the newbies aka "Squids" are still at home sleeping. The locals/regulars/experienced riders like riding early to avoid all the newbies and crowds that usually show up later in the day. Especially with all these wanna be motorcycle biker boy clubs, they ride with those stupid ICON vests and t-shirts and jeans that wont protect you from anything. Besides making you look like a total tool/bro. I agree with you on track riding, I have my track day Oct 6th at Chuckwalla and that's exactly where you should be taking it. I ride up the mountain to stay sharp on my skills once every two weeks sometimes once a week. I've ridden Ortega once and it was enough for me to never go back. :(

    Agreed!

First big tw meet (July 2010 at the beach) literally after 5 minute of meeting him he invited me over to his place right after to hang out without even knowing me.
Ever since then the small amount of times we all hit dirt with him or all the mod days we would have almost monthly at @Manwithoutaplan house we would do and get togethers every weekend at @blackhawke88 / @jlvhrse  house where awesome times with him.

He had a sequoia he wanted to build soon once he was done with school and finish up his buddy Tims 4Runner and was ready to start hitting the dirt again

Never a dull moment with him...truly hurts and will be missed by all the socal crew, friends and family the most  :pout:

Andre always had a saying rather it be his mad fab skills or putting a smile on someones face "I can fix it!" holds true in so many ways..

Andre and Jerez working together on my junk..

Awesome to see all of us reminiscing about the great times we had with Andre. I looked back last night at the text exchanges I had with him. Last one was June 9th. Even though that was the last time I spoke with him fortunately thru Facebook and IG I was able to see how much he was enjoying life since then. I'm not really the type of person that dwells on this but it's apparent Andre was different than most.....he was and still is one of the good guys. It always hurts to see one of them leave.
