Hahahaha. Everything that I was looking at at the beginning of summer for this area was $950 to $1200 for a 1 bed. 2 bed I'd assume that you can find something for $1150 somewhere in south chandler.

It's all so pricey dude, it sucks.

I just nailed down my new place that I'm moving into in 10 days, you're running against the season because short term leases over the winter tend to be way more expensive.
My current apartment which is nothing special was 1100 short term over the summer, and they want ~3000 for winter!

My new place in Tempe is 1350 but it's a nice 2br 2.5 bath with a generous 2 car garage (yaaasss!!!!) It's a townhome tho with an HOA so no Nitori Mod Days.:p

Can you find a small travel trailer for $6-9k to live in for a while and then sell after?

I did look at a few houses actually. A lot of the ones in that 1200-1350 range were stinkers that were falling apart, I looked in Tempe / Mesa / N Phoenix / Scottsdale. I didn't go very east into Mesa so maybe there were some better deals out there.

I'm happy with my pick, I just need some furniture!!

Got to play with the fork lift at work today and see how flexy the sua can get. Ran into some clearance issues with my rear bumper and bed cage but that may not be an issue when shocks are in if I need to bump before this anyways. Still had about 2-3 inches before the axle would be touching the frame and about the same before the tire would be touching the bed.gork lift was about 34" off the ground
