Came here to post this...go ahead and get the Tech package + JBL, money well spent. Best heated seats ever. I also love the "set it and forget it" auto climate control.

I wish I would have gotten the JBL :(

Ask yourself if three more years of payments are worth being able to play offroad (they are for me!). So Cal is supposed to have some real fun off road playgrounds. Maybe go visit those places to see if that's the kind of stuff you want to do with a new truck? You can also see what other people are running so you know all your options for getting dirty.

But be warned, driving a brand new truck you haven't paid off around dunes and such can be a bit nerve wracking depending on your mindset. Maybe save up and buy a beater to see if you like it? Roll that first and then go buy a brand new truck ;)

    Too few to list.
I'd say test drive the new truck first. If I was to get the V6, I'd get a manual.

I'll stop you.. it's not fully loaded.

If they told you it is, they lied.

    It's missing:

    Painted rear bumper
    Dual zone climate
    Heated seats
    JBL sound
    Sunroof
    Blind spot monitoring
    Sonar parking sensors

Can't help but chuckle at those insecure peeps and the 4wd comments. Something tells me the OP with taking a picture of the 4wd knob and talking about the loaded part is doing it for that image and hence would be a horrible financial decision but what do I know. There was a reason you picked a 2wd to start and have sunk some money in there you aren't getting back on top of that (many of the people making the comment about 4wd or nothing could probably be fine with just 2wd and don't really use it but they are justifying the image reason they purchased it). Good luck though...

Congrats! OP I know the feeling. Went in to have the dealer fix a fuel detonation issue on my Ribbon Blue 2014 Tacoma DC TRD Sport. Left with a fully loaded (less JBL) Barcelona Red 2017 Tacoma DCOR. Same situation, $33 more per month on a 5 year loan. I am really happy with my new DCOR and am busy building it out. Loving the sunroof and the electric rear slider.

Ditto, manual 2GR trumps auto anyday. Great pairing.
