I will say, I specifically got the All-weather Fridge for this reason. It's pretty bad-ass, I just need to run power back there. That project will come before this project, but I have most of what I need for it. :D

Small update: I went ahead and ordered the 12-gallon water tank. I'm waiting on some tools to arrive to start working on my dual battery system, but I want to have this on its way in the meantime.

Was poking around and there's a ton of dead space inside the bed walls. The cubbies only use a fraction.

Counting on that, as I'm going to be routing some wires in there... I guess I should start a separate thread on that.

I'm still waiting on a few things to arrive in the mail for this. But I did manage to get my dual batter system installed over Labor Day weekend. (Just the charger and the battery - I need to buy some cable terminal lugs to run the power back to the bed... that's the plan this weekend.) I also plan to go to Seattle and pick up some sheets of marine plywood. I think two should be enough.

I've update post #2 with a list of materials and costs (I'm excluding sales tax, but including shipping). The marine plywood ended up being a bit more pricey than I expected. The MDO was about $90 a sheet, but it didn't look as nice.

Not sure I would want propane tank stored up front. Kinda boom boom issue in case of accident.

That's a fair point. I did move it a little, placing a 12 gallon tank between the cab and the tank. For the propane tank to be a hazard, it would need to be heated to the point of failure with too high a pressure. I think at that point, there are bigger issues at hand. I'll definitely take it into consideration and do a little research on it.

Edit: Whoops, meant to quote the other post about the propane tank: :D

    No, they are not. :(

You can find slightly cheaper ones if you stick to the standard sizes: 60", 48", etc. But because of the locking lever being 1.5", a 60" slide just won't fit in the bed of the truck. If locking isn't important, 60" would work. What I've seen other people do in lieu of slides is steel square tubing attached to the drawer sides and a bunch of roller skate or skateboard bearings bolted inside a cabinet box (like this guy). But this requires me to "build a box for my box" and I just didn't want all the extra work. Not to mention 2 or three more sheets of that plywood that is apparently glued with unicorn tears and pegasus hooves. And at the end of it all, it wouldn't be full extension. (At least, this is how I justified it to myself!)

Lol yeah marine grade plywood isn't cheap. The other guy used the slick plastic as a means for the sliding mechanism. Forgot the acronym but it's basically slick nylon/abs/plastic
