Didn't say you didn't know batteries.

I just know that I had the tools to gather enough information to guess the problem was with the battery. Based on the dealership response, my guess was correct.

If I had a battery tester, I would have used it to verify, but I've worked on enough cars to get by without buying one.

my CPS sensor failed and left me on the side of the highway with kids and family in the truck this was a very unsafe situation! the quality on these trucks is really a let down from what I expected from Toyota

So wait, you had a bad battery and you think you qualify for the lemon law?????? I have never had a factory battery last me more then 3 years in Houston heat so as soon as the factory battery goes out I go buy a good readily available AGM.

Hopefully you don't have mice issues and they chewed up some stuff. That's happened to me before.

That being said my original Cummins batteries are still going strong with date codes of 04'

What happened THIS time? Was it enough to make it permanent? Maybe once it does the rest of us can come back to TW more often. If I wanted to spend my life focusing on negativity I would read the obituaries and throw out the rest of the newspaper.

And yes it is rather nice to read a thread that doesn't make you want to log out immediately due to poisonous negativity of THE ONE. I participate in forums for the positive knowledge and discussions which makes me often wonder WHY I am a TW member many days.

Sorry to the OP for highjacking.
