Solution has been found! America's tire in Glendora had not tightened my lug nuts!!!! All six were just barely hanging on the driver side. Don't know why I couldn't feel the wheel wobbling around when it was on the jack. But regardless, that's what it was! The lug nuts on the three other wheels were far from tight as well.

That could of ended badly. good thing you caught it. Had lug nuts left loose once on my old audi and ever since then only I touch the wheels.

Gosh it's scary thinking about what could have happened on the freeway. Did you actually loose your wheel or was it only a scary close call as well?

Guys, it's been a few weeks and I've been adapting to a totally new job and haven't had time to work on anything unfortunately. But wanted to share this quick clip I took today down the street! Truck is running good!

Guys! I have some awesome news! I'm so stoked right now. Picking up a USDM 2002 Lexus gs300 right now for a killer price. Parted out doors, seats, etc. but everything motor related- motor itself, exhaust, ignition, etc. is all there. I'll be pulling this motor out, probably painting the block a nice color and doing a bunch of stuff to call this truck finally done after this.

Currently pulling everything out of the GS. Planning on transferring just about everything over. Really excited, because everything I need is at my fingertips here.

When cramming anything into your gf's engine bay, the most important things to remember are to take your time and use lube.

Here she is! Time to clean everything up. Will post a total bunch of photos together later on in several days. This was just the start before all the cool stuff happens.

Guys I'm stoked! Just have to share this one last one for today. Had to turn the fuse/relay box sideways or else the hydroboost was going to hit it. Got lucky, 1 outa 3 holes lined up somehow for the fuse box. Means it was meant to be haha!!

Hydroboost is out of some '89 GM dually. The 4 bolt booster bracket I have on the Tacoma matches up perfectly with juuuuuust enough space to spare after I drill some holes in it. I'll share some photos of this down the road.

Brake booster - pretty much done now and fully mounted.

Power steering pump- kinda done. Mounted up pretty well but needs some reinforcement with the welder and some plate steel.

Lexus steering column- sub bracket done. If I make enough love to it, it'll hook up with the Tacoma steering shaft. Main bracket is going to need a lot of work still.

Lexus gauge cluster... I really really really want to make it fit, but I don't know. Ehh. I'm taking a break. Been up doing this since the crack of dawn. No beer all day yet.

As per my mom when my brother and I were growing up, boogers actually bond pretty well to things they're stuck to. I'm pretty sure the metal version will get the job done ;)

Uses stock bet size now with underdrive pulley. No more odd sized belts! Tensioner is dead centered and pulley alignment in all directions is spot on. Bracket is pretty from afar, but far from pretty. But as for my own self, I'm totally happy with it!!
