Looking to compile a one stop shop of fog light comparison photo/videos and "opinions". This is mostly for myself but also for everyone else looking to upgrade.
I know there are a lot of upgrades possible, but I'm mostly curious about keeping oe and upgrading bulbs or, morimoto, cali-raised, ridgids and ridgid trd pro pods or any other good options not mentioned. As far as cost, benefit, light spread for on/off road, reach and all those other lingo words referring to light, what do you guys think?

I've got caliraised replacement fogs 2x2 20w pods and I think the spread is tight but provides great coverage. I recently installed them, and dont have a solo light output pic yet.....I'll take one soon.

Yes please, I'd love to see the output! Sounds like better reach but not as much wide spread light off to the sides.
Love the avid bumper! Def want to get one myself. You enjoying it?

I love the avid front guard. It actually has saved me in the parking lot once so far, and also has saved me offroad from some nasty branches and what not. I have their sliders as well and I can tell you that avid offroad makes a great product at an affordable price. If you are local too they do great shop work at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. One note with the bumper, if you intend to use Calraised for a light bar, you may need to hammer the mounting point a bit to fit.

The morimoto XB projector fog lights look great. I'll have to snap some photos of mine and post them. Great output and a solid beam.

If I remember tomorrow morning on my way to work, I'll certainly take some pictures!

Rigid fog light kit FTW. Excellent throw and it really lights up the trail/road for a decent amount of money. Oh and their warranty gives me peace of mind.

I have contemplated going with Yellow lights in mine. Pics would be nice of night time.

That is not a fog pattern, that is a driving light pattern. Fogs should illuminate an area significantly wider than your headlights, those are the reverse illuminating an area smaller.

Sorry should prob state that the caliraised led pod replacement is a 2x2 pod.....so its not going to be a fog light in reality, its going to be a pod. It fits that need for me. Thats also why I have ditch lights as well, so I can have a more complete view.

I just got the Cali Raised 3x2 amber fogs installed a few days ago, I'll try to get some pics posted soon unless someone beats me to it. The amber/yellow is a true fog/rain as opposed to the pure white LED lights which I hear can blind you in those conditions with the bounce back. I guess you just have to consider what will be most useful for your preference.

I ordered some Baja Design Squadron Sport pods in amber wide cornering over the weekend. I'll follow up when I get them installed and grab some pics. Good thread idea!

    The first photos of

Great Pics! The 2x2 is definitely our most condensed spot beam pod. It works great for people wanting to light up a distance like in the photos. Our 3x2 18W and 3x2 18W Amber will throw a more "Fog" like pattern. I have attached a youtube video showing the install and output of a set of ambers on a 3rd gen with our kit...
