    Anybody on here a lawyer?????

    I just got off the phone with my mother who says that somebody showed up to her house trying to give me a subpoena (I have not lived at that address for many years). The phone number for me that he had on file was incorrect, and the date of birth he had on file for me was incorrect. On top of that, the name he provided for the person who issued the subpoena did not sound familiar to me whatsoever even after a quick search throughout social media. Seems a little bit suspicious to me...

    I called the phone number he left behind and he stated that he cannot provide me with any additional information unless he hands me the paperwork in person. I declined to provide him with my new address and requested that he leave the paperwork at my parents house but he said he was unable to do that.

    Looking for any input from law enforcement officers or maybe even lawyers that can tell me what course of action I should take from here. Thanks in advance.
