I concur. My daughter hated swaddling, my son needed it to sleep. We did white noise machines for both of them which seemed to help. As far as them sleeping on their side ya I guess current thought it it's bad. That shit changes all the time though. Our daughter wouldn't sleep on her back, no matter how many times we rolled her back over. She would only sleep on her side/ stomach. At the end of the day it's what you're comfortable with and what keeps them asleep

 

Good points. Everyone is different, so it could work for some and not for others. It's a learning experience, that's for sure. And there sure as hell isn't a manual for it.

 

Sounds like the magnet was doing it's job. BTW good job on changing the fluids yourself. You said you wanted to start doing the work yourself. Thats a good place to start!

All of mine liked swaddling in some form or another and my 1st would only sleep on his side. @MikeyMcFly if you do try the baby on it's side they make a wedge to put the baby on so if it's wrapped up and on it's side it doesn't roll over onto it's face.

Yeah I think most Macs have it. Not a great idea. Luckily I think it's confined to Safari and selected programs. If my coding environment started autocorrecting I would quit. There's no way that would work.
