2wd BS and SoCal meet ups and Tacoma fun

And they are going back. They are chrome books and we are not very familiar with it and it's counter parts. Going back to get a actual lap top not a notebook.

 

I bought a dell from there about six months ago. Very happy with it.

 

I see chrome books more like tablets with an attached keyboard than actual computers.

 

Dell has always been solid for the most part.People just like to get wrapped up in what is exposed more to fit in and feel acknowledged/popular more with other products.I find it to be humorous as you get older with even the younger gen.who don't even know what they're working with but act as if they do.

I can't afford rear shocks, so anything in the Apple family is way above my pay grade. Lol. It's for my wife and she barely knows how to turn it on let one use it for all of its potential.

 

Yeah, they are expensive, I could have bought a new set of wheels, and tires for the amount of money I spent on my MAC!!! So the 285s will have to wait

 

Chromebooks are good for surfing the net and email, etc. If you need to save documents on the computer or do any sort of photo editing... not good.

Good morning TW fam, so my wife asked me to decide if I want a RTT from Xmas or just a bunch of other smaller things for the truck (lights, recovery equip, etc..) If i decide for the RTT then I got the green light to buy this week and hope to have it ready by saturday for the San G. trip, that is why im out looking for the bed bars over tonneau cover.

I'm not here to show off but to ask you RTT owners what you think? Is the RTT worth it, what are your pros and cons?

How often do you plan to camp? 2 weekends a month or more. If less than that I wouldn't wast my time or money. Yes try are cool af, but How often will you use it.

 

More like one weekend per month and sometimes every other month. They do look cool AF though hahah and I wonder how much better would our camping experience be with one of those puppies

 

I am not sure. It would be a good idea for you and Mary. Just not sure it's a great idea.

 

Oh shit! It might be too late to rescue Juan. He's deep in the rabbit whole. Once you get the RTT your going to need better suspension, better lights, bigger tires.

 

Sounds like someone is .... get that shit and take it off when you are not using it.

 

@Tombiology70 ran his RTT on a stock suspension for a while. He won't need to upgrade anything
