Hey guys anybody have this problem in a 3rd gen?? This happens every here and there. Wondering if anyone knows why. It is raining out. Maybe the signal is weak because of that?

Same issue before as well, seems to have popped on after a couple minutes.

Why would this be normal? It happened to me for the first time the other day. Worked fine the day before. Cranked it up and no clock. Went into the settings and went to put in the time, touched one of the arrows to change it and it instantly came back at the right time. I do have the GPS button checked to keep accurate time.. I never got on the road and waited for it to come back. All this was sitting in the driveway. Truck has about 33k miles (2016). I did have the MFD updated and it fixed the rebooting issue some time back. I wonder what this is? I'm going to take it in for the 35k service and tell the dealer about it.

It syncs the time when you have HD radio signal iirc.

Ok, but where I live I don't get much HD radio and this is the very first time it's done that. Hmmm. Still think it's odd, though.

I'm three hours from HD radio and have never had this problem.

I'm quite certain the clock is managed through the GPS system since the display will ask you if you'd like to update to the local time when you cross into a different time zone.
