Well it's only been about 200 pages since you joined, this thread was started in 2010, so hang in there bud!

 

200 pages? That's like 10 Tacoma years!

 

After I replaced the carrier bearing I was still having vibes, they should have replaced the ujoints while they had it apart. Getting them done now and simply didn't want to take the DS off again and have to use Madison's truck as a shuttle. Getting a good look over so it'll be ready to sell, and turns out I need a new drivers side wheel bearing again. It'll be costly but I just want it 100% so I can confidently sell her. After this I'll pull all my suspension and throw the stock stuff back on, fix my exhaust and she's ready to go to a new home. I'll hold onto her until my CC is mostly all paid off so I can apply for a small auto loan if I want to expand my options of a 4x4. Hopefully just a few more months. I'm so anxious to get started on a new build and put all my 12+ conversion parts on so it's out of the house haha. I just hope the timing works out because I don't want to be riding my bike through the winter (can't be riding in the rain everyday) otherwise I'll hang onto her until the rain stops which will delay everything. May end up being the better call but we shall see!

 

Damn man, hope it all works out. We'll talk more tonight or Thursday but I'm sure it'll all be good! Oh yeah, because it rains soooo much in SoCal.

Just so happens that we are applying for a new apartment today... with a garage "Mikes storage container" it's not very wide but pretty deep. I'm sure we'll be able to have some minor fun.

Also depends if the shop has a ramp there so I can throw my bike in the truck to get it home haha.

Shhhh! I know I know! I've been looking at the Camburg kit vs the DMZ. It's all money... which I don't have haha. I've also been toying the idea of the TC "mid travel" spring under. Mounts to the factory locations, pair that with a shock relocation and 12 or 14" shocks and have more up travel than SOA and plenty of droop. Would be perfect with my mid travel up front for now, eventually get into LT. It'll take me a few years to get that kind of money together though. Unless I win the lotto or get myself into a different job/career.
