+1 for the Baja Squadron Sports (amber). Recently upgraded from the Morimoto XB's. Huge difference in lighting!

I'm running CaliRaised pods. Don't have output pics, but when I use them I have no need of high beams. (3x2 18W pods)

Yes I just recently installed them so, I have not played with them yet. Things are a bit crazy right now but one day I'll adjust them.

Seems like the 2 different spectrums on the upper and lower bulbs give u some distance throw and wide spectrum. Nice combo. Def in the mix. Only come in amber?

The extra lumens on the pros worth the $$$?

Best part about them, you can change the color and pattern of the lenses yourself..

The extra $$$ is worth it, but you have to decide for yourself. These are are the Squadron Sports, and for a fog light application I think they're just right. The Pros are nice, but are limited to off road use.

Just be aware that there is no advantage to yellow, only disadvantage. People used to think that colored light will cut through fog (water droplets) better, that was proved incorrect 20 or 30 years ago. But since all yellow lights are simply colored lenses, it will reduce the total light output over the same light with a clear lense.

Notice it says "the intent", whish is accurate, it is the itention for better visibility, it just doesn't work, which is probably why it's no longer mandatory in countries where it used to be mandatory.

"Fog lights should have a wide beam pattern of 70 to 120 degrees, with a flat cutoff on top to reduce the amount of light directed up into the fog and thereby reducing the reflection of that light into the driver’s field of vision."

I see what you're saying and yes there will be a reduction in output, but considering light from the spectrum of 3K is significantly less fatiguing to the human eye than light of a 6K or higher, (especially with night use) than I believe you prove my point.

If the light reflecting back at you fatigues your vision then your light is only blinding you.

I'm sure you are correct. I always thought the yellow lenses looked kinda putrid, like the vehicle had jaundice or something. Still kinda cool for the retro vibe if nothing else: (note the white fog lamps, but yellow head lamps!)
