Your right they are both bolted to the same tube, I was just going off the fact that the bpf recovery point bolted to the passenger side and that there is no mounting holes on the driver side. I'll take the end caps off when I get home and see if there is extra metal inside of the tube on the passenger side

I recall seeing threads/comments (not sure if here, Amazon, etc.) about the cd mounted phone holders melting. If you live in a warm climate, you may want to do some research on this mount option. And it may have been a different brand that melted. 'Just trying to help - would hate for a fellow member to ruin their CD player.

Which magnaflow muffler did you go for and how much were you charged by the shop for the swap? Any chance at a sound clip?

I'm trying to decide my self and think I'm gonna go the magnaflow route..

yes. It is two pieces, the ball is stuck to dash dash and the disk sticks to the ball magnetic and is adjustable.
also I reused this from my previous truck with scotch 10lb double sided tape. That stuff is pretty strong.

Very simply put, look at any snow rated tire, car or truck, you will see lots and lots of mini grooves cut into the tread. These are called SIPES. Any tire with more will have more traction on wet, snow and even icy roads. One sipe in each tread block is ok but more are better. I noticed my Ridge Grapplers break traction on the white crosswalk lines in the street in the rain, and backing up my steep driveway they broke too. So I'm becoming skeptical. Of course, there's no load in the bed and we all know that pickups have bad traction unloaded. I plan on adding this in the snow months here:

    http://www.shurtrax.com/mobile/Full-Size-Pickup-ShurTrax-Traction-Grabber-P2.aspx

I used it in my Tundra and it definitely helped.

some cool mods i did, first is the unholy mount with diamond plate, extender arm, and another diamond plate with the scosche magnetic phone mount glued to it. i didnt like the regular phone holder that comes with the unholy mount and ram attachments so i made my own, i took the scosche magnetic mount cut the ball head off of it and filed it down till it was a flat surface on the back so the epoxy would hold. it works really nicely has never fallen off and i even managed to keep the little clip to hold the wire in place :)

second is this amazing tie down mount that i discovered, the actual mount is made by relentless fabrication took 5 seconds to put on and the tie down is a boat buckle mini g3 retractable tie down, i got the 1in width with 72 inch length rope, i ride bmx so its nice to be able to just flip 5 bikes upside down in the back and easy run the tie down through all the wheels and lock them down.

those tie downs were pretty expensive though honestly, i found 2 on ebay for $60 everywhere else there almost 40-50 for 1!!!!
also found some off brands one that were cheaper and a bright orange i just wanted black, the ones i got were boat buckle mini g3

damn! that is expensive. here's what i've been doing.. don't have the tailgate pad on right now but i'll just throw the bikes on the tailgate then run this through the frames. i'd like to have the ratchet strap eventually really keep the bikes in place.
