It's really not that difficult. I bought everything from Crutchfield, and they have pretty good instructions, based on specific models.

It's good. It's a Pioneer deck, Boston Acoustic door speakers, and a slick little Kicker sub under the seat. I'm kinda big on not carving stuff up, and all of this fit in with no mods.

 

"good" as in much better than stock? or waaaaaaaay better that stock

To me, it's way better than stock, which I ripped out after a year of owning the truck. These pics are from October of 2012, so while the truck is still fairly clean, I am sure it is not as clean as your pristine biznitch!

Will do!!! Is changing the head unit a necessity?

I kind of like my stocker for some reason.

 

I changed out my head unit, but not the speakers, and it made a dramatic difference in sound quality. If you have touch screen though, I'd keep that and change out speakers.

 

Yeah, wanting to keep the head unit stock.

Sure, you may have to amplify the new speakers, but you can do that after you put the speakers in if you need.

+1 for crutchfield, I've used and put in 3 systems from them so far, excellent company and customer service.

 

Did you put an amp on the door speakers? What kind(Brand) of door speakers? Did you make your own speaker adapters?
