Ok, so my Toyota Care is up and i'm going to be changing my oil for the first time. Wanted to see what ppl recommend using? i was thinking about using the Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter along with Mobil 1 oil. Any other recommendations? Also, i know Toyota say's these trucks can go 10k miles on oil changes, does that change what type of oil i have to look for? I've never used synthetic before so that's why i figured i'd ask before i go buy everything and start working on it.

There are 9,000,046 (now 9.000,047) threads like this. Use search bar and look it up
Use OEM filter which is cheap and on Amazon, buy Mobil synthetic oil of your liking from walmart and be done.

OEM Filter and Mobil 1, watch Mobil 1 Website as they do $12 rebates a couple times a year making it a real bargin.

Remember, only AMSOIL is really Full Synthetic, Mobil 1 is not. Look it up!

There are other full synthetics other than Amsoil, but you are correct, the normal Mobile 1 is not a true full syn anymore. I do believe the extended performance Mobil 1 is though

Just use lemons or lemon juice - not the synthetic... In all seriousness, I believe any current "synthetic" will be fine.
