Dumb question from an automatic driver... What's the clutch button do? Do you press that instead of depressing the clutch when starting?

yeah, basically.. if the truck is off you can just push the CSC button. while you turn the key the truck will start to roll forward (or backward if in reverse). used to get out of situations where you don't want to roll while you take your foot off the clutch.

also, if the truck is in N, then yeah you can just start up without having to use any clutch.

    In progress.... And getting better!
MagnaFlow #12256. $160 out the door. Sounds great inside and out. Don't have a personal sound clip, but I found this one online and it's pretty much spot on.

From Amazon I bought 2 6" Led lights, wire cover/protector tube and wire harness. From auto store got some connectors and 30'ft of 16 gauge wire. The LED lights seem well built and I was surprised by the heavy feel they have. I didn't use the fancy switches that most here use I just used the one from the harness. The switch has 3 wires That need to go through firewall to cabin. This is what I did first and is the most difficult part. I could not get it through the center of it so I went on the side of the rubber grommet thing. I am not a professional. lol. The rest is pretty simple the harness comes with an inline fuse and relay the I bolted to the frame. A red and black wire to connect to battery. Then it is just splicing in the 15 ft of wire running through the protector thing and route the wire back along the frame zip tying to some existing wire harness under truck and hooking up lights. I used a 1" piece of flat steel about 7" long and drilled 3 holes in it to make a bracket using hardware from the LEDs its held on the truck by the middle hole and the rear bolt under the bumper. Its pouring out now so I will snap some pics if anyone wants them later. I put the switch low and out of the way on left side. Just have to remember to turn it off.

Thanks... done a Google search when I asked that question and found them on Amazon. And I also watched some reviews on Youtube. I found the ones with a hook on each end. Think those would work better for me so I don't have to leave them out in the weather. Actually I'm tie down poor but I like how those retractable ones work.

yeah i wanted the tie down to always be there and that one is actually made for a boat so i assume its good in all weather i could see ice and snow being a problem though lol

the hooks will never fail I'm just lazy.

Here's my budget set up. Haha.. Had this laying around the house, figured why not! I'll just tuck it in the side compartment when not in use!

    Great idea! @Flyinbrianbmx
