Manufacturing is, or rather was, the heart and sole of industry in the US. And has turned to chit for most of those still involved in it still. Nature of the beast yet still upsets me to read crap like this. I really hope things turn out for you. Change is hard the older you are yet even though staying in place can be "easier" it can be harder in the long run. Talk about a rock and hard spot. I've done those long commutes in city traffic. There is a hell of a lot of stress in that too.

FNG pup failed sandbox 101 today at doggie day care. Been 2 months since neutered and he did fine for the first hour. Then attacked an intact male so he had to go into solitary confinement. Brought him home tonight after work and the oldest and him touched noses through the gates and the older guy then disappeared even though I had put food down. Went and got a carrot for him and he wouldn't even come out to get it I had to go to him. And he was shaking like a leaf. He knows something is up and I can't read or sense it. One step forward and 2 back. Not sure where this is going to end up.

At work today we had a picnic and team building. And I am blessed to be on one hell of a team at work, the best in my life. They told me I can take off next month anytime I want as long as we keep it under the table and other teams don't find out. And everyone told me how much they appreciated that I took holidays and on call for them when they needed it. They will cover me for hunting season. Except SD can't take off for that and wouldn't expect that timing wise. Dogs and I are going to chase some birds hopefully soon glad got that shot in the foot yesterday. Not sure how this is going to work with the new pup though. Thinking it may be best to just cut my losses with him and simplify my life. But I hate to quit. Especially on a person or a dog.

I've been there too In the past. We are 24/7 so holidays don't mean anything for maintenance. We have scheduled outages throughout the year and they are never on holidays. So since I'm on straight days, we get them off. For shift guys, it's just another day at work except getting double time plus holiday pay, which was sweet.

We have had breaker PMs recently, but it was mostly done by our electrical specialist along with Eaton and ABB.

    Howdy bud!

Ended up in bed at 1930, woke up at 0500, felt great.

On the bonding stuff, if you decide it's something you want to pursue, talk to your insurance co. I have State Farm and I'm working with them on quotes for my side job.

I need a good Bluetooth. What's up with the neckband type? Should I seek a geek at Best Buy?

    Evening everyone !!:hattip:

Spent the afternoon with a friend of mine and ate lunch at Jimmy John's restaurant . Then headed over to Home Depot to check on outdoor landscaping transformers , low voltage line and spot lights

Looks like this may work for a Flag light just not sure how to secure the transformer as I'm not allowed to permantly mount it to the bldg

You can check easy. Find a truck driver forum. There's bound to be some who have done it.

Look in the outdoor lighting at lowes they have one that's solar powered. They work great and there's a couple of different settings for how long they stay on

I tried a Hampton Bay solar powered flag light but it only stays on for over 5 hrs and that's it

Ya, I was hoping some of my Tacoma buddies would know. I try to avoid talking to truck drivers as much as possible.;)

Get two of them, and point one at the others solar panel. That way the one on the flag is being recharged while it is being discharged.
