That range is insanely nice compared to the local one here in NorCal. Holy cow.

    "Revolutionary"
Goes 1 and 2 without finger grooves, calls 3 and 4 "revolutionary" with finger grooves...
Removes finger grooves for 5 and again calls it "revolutionary"
TBDH I like Glocks, especially the look of the 5, the beveled front takes the cake, and having a factory flared magwell is nice. Someone convince me otherwise on here, 10mm carry?

10mm is bomb, I just dont know if I'll ever meet a knife weilding bear at Starbucks that I need to pop a single round into to stop the threat. Truck it, G40 it is.
At least glock didn't bring out the gen 5 and "gen VI" at the same time and completely truck over every iPhone owner in existence. Shame on Apple for ruining its peak point of hype and just "appealing to the masses". Sorry, iPhone rant lol

Well I mean there's 6 G17 versions and 5 G19 versions now that Glock sells.

If you're comparing a gen5 and gen6 glock to a i8 and iX is kinda different since the x is a lot different than the 8. If anything, it'd be like comparing a Gen3 G19 to a Gen4 G34 MOS.

It'd be closer to i7 vs i8 with only the diehards NEEDING IT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW even though it's pretty much the same thing.

As with so many new products, the manufacturers have to make a "new and improved" version to sell product to people that already have their "old and unimproved" products. Also, to sound "better" than their competition to new buyers. It's just marketing.

Some product lines really don't make sense to me - they must to somebody.

I just ignore the noise, and find what fits my hand and has a nice trigger.

Of course, anything can be enhanced... ;)

I care, but that's because we can't get anything newer than a Gen3 in California :annoyed:

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
That's nothing compared to the new CMP range which is about 20 mins away!

Has anybody in the south east region been to Foothills shooting complex in Cleveland county nc? It just opened last year. It's 85 acres, has shotgun, handgun, rifle, 3d archery, and steel target ranges.

Worse is the 10-round magazine limit probably. Gen3 is still a great gun, but it's frustrating to not be able to get the newest tech. I am a Sig owner and don't think we can get the Legion series here (not that I would, but again, annoying without options).

General gun question here: I have some guns I am looking to sell. Granted I am in CA so it's probably a nightmare, but does anyone have any experience with selling a gun?

The "safest" (least amount of risk involved for you to get cheated/robbed) is to sell it on consignment with a local shop. They take a cut, so it'll also net you the smallest profit. Other than that, Armslist or Calguns are good communities to sell or at least gain exposure, but expect the normal online haggle and "let me go and ask my wife" BS. Some chaps here would also be willing to buy depending on what you're selling, and you can easily arrange shipping to an FFL.

Cool thanks for the info. I figured consignment was probably the easiest. I just imagine that the rifle market in Santa Barbara isn't too hot right now lol. I'm selling a Sako .243 with Leupold scope. I'm 99% sure it's brand new as my dad bought it in 1993 right before he passed away. I'm keeping the sentimental ones and selling a few of the ones that we never use.

You could always post what you have here or in a local thread for your area. There's plenty of gun enthusiasts on here that should be close enough to you to make the process easier for both parties.
