    ya man.
All they ever want to do is either bars, or Wasaga beach both of which they never have the balls to make a move on any girls lol. I say fuck Wasaga beach if I'm going that way I'd rather go where its less crowded and go to Ardbeg. Majority of them still haven't started any sort of career just working dead end jobs. Why waste my money on drinking and not remember it when I can go wheeling and remember it and enjoy it.

City just isn't for me. I always have way more fun out on the trails or just camping than I have in the city.
I used to go to the track and even then find wheeling more fun. Love getting out and exploring.

hey now, you can do it while in a relationship but your girlfriend will likely bitch at you constantly how you spend more on your truck than her.

I know she wasn't happy when I said I want to get a bumper and winch next year.

Well, I prefer to listen to the noise of my transmission/transfer case shifting/engaging rather than a high pitch of my ex lol

I wish. she keeps getting mad saying we'll never be able to get a nice cottage if I keep spending so much on the truck. She seems to think this is a constant cost, but once the build is done its done.

I mean thats if its ever done. But are they ever really done? haha.

yeah man I hear yah. people I used to hang with were the same, drank and bars 7 nights a week, got to the point where I just stopped hanging with them. like, no I cant get wasted on a Wednesday lol I have a job I need to go to the next day haha I'm just glad i've got the trailer to resort too on weekends to get out of the city, but ive been doing that for a long time so I would like to start exploring a little more and going camping elsewhere, like real camping haha I will progress to it slowly, slowly accumulate gear to be better prepared, but the more you do it, the more u get a feel for what you need to be prepared. There's lots to explore here even just in Ontario.

after wheeling with you guys this past weekend I got a good feel for what I need to get. wish I would have discovered this sooner hahaha the amount I have spend on random mods I could be armoured up and lifted already hahaha oh well I will get there eventually!

if you worked with the 'millennials' I work with that are used to having their moms wipe their ass and still do their laundry at 20 years old you'd get what I mean.

Or the apprentices that don't know how to bend conduit when they're a year away from getting their license and when they are given the chance to be taught, that I go through all the steps, give them charts on how to bend, and do all the measurements and markings for them so they can at least get used to the work of actually bending, then have the nerve to ask me to do it. because its 'too hard to bend' You'd get what I mean lmao.
Or tell me 'I was only a few minutes late it shouldnt be a problem' when they are 5 minutes late every fucking day, and being the lowest term are supposed to be getting the keys from security every morning.

Seriously a lot of the younger guys coming into the trades now are fucking pathetic, so glad I was taught by oldschool guys that don't let shit like that slide. All they ever seem to do is look for excuses to not do the work.

@Joe23 as for gravel travel they have some pretty decent routes. There is a trip to do part of the swish loop sept 30, but its just too much driving for a weekend for me. Its like a solid 3 days of driving and I don't want to rush that route. Hoping the start of next summer to bang that out prior to Newfoundland.
