it is amazing though dude that she's down for all of it.
Hell one of my closest friends has vanished off the face of the earth since he got married.
The eclipse he was building stopped being built
he no longer goes to the track.
he does nothing without her and she never wants to do anything.

You're lucky she's down to always come. At times I wish Skye was more down to come but she's always so shy. figure once she does come and meets eveyrone and sees everyone is rather chill she'll be better.

Well I'll tell you what...judgement call from wife and I from the weekend...pretty impressed with everyone from the meet. Everyone excelled in the following categories:

    Stewards of the land
    Respect for people and property
    Gracious towards common sense
Respectful of all regulations toward right of way of all modes of transportation

I would bet the farm that of all the interactions with civilians on the trail, there was not a single complaint to the center...

So well done...and slap some sense into your "millenial" peers if you would be so kind! Lol

It takes time. This is our first year camping and actually staying. Not just doing day runs. All in time.

Reason I have one. Had a wash out like that happen in Arbdeg. Without armour it would have been a bad time. Could have turned around but being low on fuel and looking at running the trail for another 8 hours wasn't happening.

Dude since I got my license I've lost all patience for a lot of apprentices. Just from how far behind some are at 4th and 5th term is pathetic.
And they have no care at all to the fact they know nothing. They'll be told to go sweep. When I got into the union and they tried to tell me to clean I was pissed. wanted to learn and be on tools not cleaning and organizing material.

    it seems like best bet.

More clearance is great but what if its still not enough and you hit something?
At least with armour if you do hit something you won't be breaking vital components like tcase actuators, or cracking oil pans and getting stranded.

Thats how I started. Fully skidded, then suspension and bumpers at the same time with tires. Save and do it right the first time. Best advice I can give is don't settle as you will just do it anyway down the road. Better to do it once and be done .

I feel like if I had my rear bumper ripped off, I would look at it as an opportunistic accident to give myself a true reason for a HC haha that's what I would tell myself anyways, to keep me from being mad hahaha

I was thinking the same thing. Just figured I could sell the thing to help pay for it. Got $300 for my stock rear and $250 for my front. Everything helps.

oh I hear you, ive been with the company for 6 years and we have had a lot of guys come through fresh out of school, only 2 of them should be in the trade and I actually didn't mind working with. I have had a couple co-op students work with me, and they didn't even know what side cutters were. like GTFO of here, if u don't know basic tools and aren't mechanically inclined, why the hell do u want to be in a trade?

I like that thinking haha my rear bumper is garbage tho, that's why I didn't mind cutting holes in it for my flush mounts hahaha

as long as Skye stays cool with me going I don't really mind. Sure would be nice having her there. But at the same time her not being there means I can do more. No need to worry about her wanting to leave etc.

Plus no knowledgeable opinion telling me not to do something stupid that will be fun :)
