I hate the assholes that bring their "service dog" in places everywhere. But this beauty helps me with balance and mobility and she helps "break the cycle" when stuff gets crazy. But if anyone when crazy on me or kicked my dog... I guess after I posted bail, my PTSD lawyer would further be in my corner.

    Beautiful.

I love to see working dogs. I'm a dog person. I always want to say hi and pet, but never do (I understand the rules).

The only stores I take my dog to are Home Depot and Lowes. They love him there, and are dog friendly places.

You have a working dog. It wears a vest identifying it as such. I am sure it remains on your left at all times. It doesn't stick its nose in my ass, my kids face, or any other place a non working dog would gonfooting around for god knows what.

For this, your working dog wouldn't get the aforementioned reaction. Because it is legit. And I have respect for them and you for needing the dog/having the bravery to venture into uncomfortable surroundings with it.

I was responding to the asshat that brings his dog into all manner of locations like he is something special. It's a pet, leave it at home or in the car.

Did you know...that pork ribs were once considered a less than desirable cut of meat and were therefore given to the servants to eat?
I guess this means that eating ribs and just having ribs on the menu is offensive.

Poor Chinese workers toiled away in horrible conditions to build Railroads in the 1800's so let's ban the use of railroads so we don't offend the Chinese-Americans who are the descendants of these workers.

And finally, we should ban the manufacture of Hamburgers, peppermint patties and all things patty shaped because the word "patty" sounds too much like "paddy" which is and obvious slur often directed at Irish-Americans. :drunk:

    Where does it end? :goingcrazy:

Cutie. Still...what a nightmare job brushing that coat has to be. Therapy CHORES,
I work for the VA, and we have service dogs everywhere. The "no pet" gets broken often, mostly because we all know each other. The only dog that we don't disobey that rule with is for Sandy, and that's because her owner is blind.

I'd swear that service dogs give each other a little head nod when they see each other like they're saying "whassup?" to each other.
My girls love going to Lowes. We've been there and seen over a dozen dogs in one day. I didn't realize canine home improvement was such a thing, but it must be.

Fried okra isn't slimy. Some folks dip them in ketchup. (That's "catsup" for you yankees):D

I love okra. Pickled is fine (have some in the fridge), but fried with ranch for dipping is best. Dickeys BBQ does a pretty good job on theirs.

People are angry at the world these days. Anything and everything is offensive. The banana peel in the tree was ridiculously blown out of context.

You have no idea... ...we form clouds.

My boy Simon is well known by name at our local lowes. He's never been to home depot since they have to be inside the cart and I'm not picking his fat butt up to put him inside one. However, he does get to go into (besides pet stores) tractor supply, gander mtn, hobby lobby, pat catans, and tours the outlet mall.

He's hopefully going to pass his temperament and CGC tests next month. We're hoping to get him certified as a therapy dog as well, but he's still all puppy at 1 1/2 years old.

Oh, believe me. I've brushed enough fur out of him to knit him a sweater. But I don't mind. It's relaxing to me and the dog both.

Scooter goes with me to the Wal-mart Super Center every Sunday to buy groceries. All the little kids get excited when the see him and parents are always like "No, no. He's working. Leave him alone." and then I embarass the parents by saying to the kids "Aw, did you want to pet the big puppy?" And then I let the kids pet him. Scooter eats it up.
