Orange County CAF's: up to no good

OC just wants your money!
Apparently anybody that's not a felon it's able to pay those fees can get it ccw.
That means any crackhead can go get one

If I had the money to do it you watch me walk in there with my red eyes and be like here you go here's some money let me take the class thank you

 

You can take the class if you don't have a ccw...

 

Right but what from what I read it's a For Sure Shot way to get your CCW just like as if you take that motorcycles class and pay the money you don't really have to take the DMV driving test they just see that you took that test and passed and say okay here's your license thank you come again after paying whatever feed the DMV might come up with

But every time with dealing with Orange County it's all about money and that's all there is to it, in all of my experiences. From parking tickets to dui. Shit I even know people that are on their 3rd DUI and never seen any jail time because they just keep paying the money. And from what I understand on your third DUI it's a minimum of 60 days in jail, mandatory In Orange County supposed to be one of the harshest for DUIs.

It's not. You can take the class and still be denied. You don't have to take the class until after you get granted a ccw. The class isn't held by the county. It's a third party that does it.

 

So I poked around under the truck today. As far as I can tell you can't get cutouts in front of the stock (2nd) cats/trans cross member unless you custom splice in a pipe with the cutouts on it.

 

Won't pass smog either having them before the cats. Most shops won't do the work. Easier bolting in a y pipe.

 

Right just like the motorcycle license test.
3rd party. Pay here pass. I think. The class I believe is just to help you pass if they even make you take another test after doing the class. I personally don't know anybody that has gone through this class or has a concealed weapon permit. So I'm not 100% sure but everything that I read in that description states that yeah pay us and go get your CCW basically in long words.

I knew it was something long like this but I know people that haven't gotten any repercussion of it because all they did was pay A LOT!, yeah their insurance is gone up but that was it.

What are you getting?

 

Nothing too exciting, some mechanical work and fixes relating to a car accident. Also bought some new front tires as a result. Gonna be buying a new cat and some spacers to fix an issue I'll describe below soon.

Definitely does, debating on pulling the cat off and not replacing it for a while. Rather spend monies elsewhere... They might have settled a little, but getting an alignment really helped things out. Feels pretty damn similar to the ride on the old suspension so I'm happy. Took it for a brief jaunt at holy jim, ride is a little stiffer but negotiable.

 

So here's a issue I found. My new tires are pretty damn close to the uca, they rub on very tight turns and at certain angles of flexing.



I'm pretty sure the fix here is spacers to push the tires out farther. Is that going to require a cab mount chop? I threw on a wheel spacer in the past with @WileECoyote but the wheel hit right around here...



Maybe it will clear now that my suspension isn't sagged out like it was before? Opinions ppl

 

CMC is not because of your issue. CMS is because your tires would be bigger and take up more space in the wheel well and are further back. You'd know if you were rubbing the cab mount

 

Pinch weld mod probably.
