    It's not hitting the cab mount at the moment. When I threw a spacer on in the past it was hitting around that area, gonna have to throw spacers on again. Curious if I'll hit something again, granted I could absolutely be talking about the wrong part so

    Yes it does. The tire is hitting the upper control arm correct? New upper control arms will give you more clearance at that ball joint area where your tire is rubbing now.

Which raises a quick question, WHY would anyone go with SPC Light Racing if it is a sealed ball joint just like the OEM? Does it give a little more clearance??? :confused:

    @uhplifted moving the wheels out and changing the position of the tire can also create rubbing. When you turn it changes where the edge of the tire hits.

    @Nicklovin trim your fenders. If there's any metal protruding forward hit it with a sledge hammer until it's flattened out. That'll solve any of your rubbing issues if they happen again.
    As Danny said, go with the ball joint type UCAs. If SPC makes them that'll be a great choice. Uniball UCAs wouldn't be of any advantage without coilovers that can droop further than your current struts. They also require more maintenance since they're open.

    You mentioned not replacing your cat? You can't just "take it out and replace it later". There's no bolt in section of pipe to replace it while you wait, and it'll be the same price to simply just replace the cat vs pay someone to weld in a pipe. Either hold off on replacing it or replace it the right way. I'd recommend against waiting on it since the longer you wait the more problems for your motor you're creating. A clogged cat makes it more difficult for your motor to flow out the exhaust so it needs to work harder creating more wear.

    How much more maintenance would the uniballs be? Down the line I do plan on coilovers, might be cheaper to buy now and deal with the maintenance instead of having to buy new ones down the line. Lots of thoughts here since new ucas are a pretty penny.
    Tbh my friends would love to see me just sawzall the cat off and call it a day. Realistically I'm gonna have it replaced, hopefully this weekend before issues come up
