Went wheeling with a 2017 Wrangler. In 4L, a warning light for the electronic throttle control and the CEL came on and his truck revved up way high. He must have the Jeep thing.

I'm sorry but that looks like you've included either a "beer room" or "bear room" in your plans top left corner of your drawings. Consider me invited, I don't care which room it is, as long as it has one or the other :D

Beer > Bears though, expect if you're me

For those who are over 18, when did you know when it was time to move out?

When I was 16, had a reliable vehicle, a job that supported me enough to finish school, and a way to make it all work.

Granted I haven't moved out but my 2 cents is live with your parents until you finish college so you can focus on that mainly and you have a steady job with a decent amount of savings.
My cousin waited until her mid 20s to move out so she could save the money she would have spent on rent to use as a down payment on a house. Just my 2 cents

The only thing is I'm not going to college.. I was planning on joining the military in January. I'm not even 18 yet but I can just tell they want me gone (even though they say that's not true).. Hopefully I can get the marines to take me the day I'm 18

It's your call, and that sounds tough I can't imagine having that pushed on me. Definitely put a lot of thought into this decision, even if they do try to push you a little bit to leave remember it's your life and it's up to you to decide how you live it. Sounds like you have some time before you're 18, why not try and create some sort of plan so you're not just leaving one day and hoping stuff works out. Have you visited the recruiting office? Perhaps explain your situation and I'm sure you can find someone who will help you out and at the bare minimum give you an idea of what you need to do to join the Marines. Granted I'm not seeking military service but a buddy of mine is and I remember him telling me about various physical requirements and tests he had to pass to get where he wants to go in the military when (if) he joins. Talk to a recruiter, figure out what you need to do so you can start preparing now if that is what you really want to do

I have some time, but not enough.. Just 10 more days. I think they'll take me since they won't leave me alone, and i can pass their litltle physical tests.. I just wanted more time to save money and spend time with people I love. Can't have it all I guess.

It's all up to you, have you talked to your parents about your plans to join the Marines? I don't see why they won't happily let you stay around longer so you can spend some time with friends and family before you join the marines; granted I know every family is different and I'm definitely not in a position to offer perfect judgement since I'm 21 and I still live with my parents while I struggle my way through college. But like I said it is your life, never force yourself into something you don't want to do just yet.

My 2¢. Get a part time job, stick with it for a year. Use that time to really think about if the military is for you. Use it to spend time with your loved ones and friends. Maybe use the time to prepare for the military itself. I don’t think their physical tests are “little”. A lot of people fail them being overconfident and not realizing how hard they’ll push you. Consider college. Just use the time wisely.

As with the moving out, I wanted to move out around 13. I did when I was 17 with help from my grandparents. Financially, it’s really the smartest move to just stay with your parents as long as the relationship holds or your college/military takes you away. But if there’s nothing wrong, don’t fix it.

I'm not a HUGE fan of the single stack, only because my meat beaters are massive and a double fits better in my hand. That being said, I'm a big dude... and a wide gun doesn't fit IWB very comfortably. I'm thinking Glock 19 soon. But for now the shield will do :D

    It's a Jeep thing... you wouldn't understand.

When I saved up the down payment for my house. :) Personally, I would never recommend anyone to rent. Buying a house isn't as hard or expensive as people make it out to be. Start now though. Get a credit card, get a small loan.. something to start building credit. Buying a house is going to mess your credit up for a long time. I closed on my house almost a year ago and my credit still isn't back where it was before.

I'm sure your parents don't want you gone. If you're serious about joining the military get down and talk to the recruiter. Just don't let them force you into anything.. and get everything in writing. They're going to promise you a lot, and you'll never see it.

One, end wall, little thing in the drawing.

It's a bear room, where I bear arms.

As soon as I graduated college I was out (literally within a week)

Glock 19 is what I carry. Glock 19 FTW!

Why would buying a house kill your credit? Having a mortgage opens another line of credit that should build your credit.

I can attest to a credit card. I had my truck loan and my credit wasn't going up fast at all. When I recently opened a credit card account, my credit jumped from like 670 to 730.

Do you know how many times they pulled my credit when I bought my house? 4 times. From all three credit bureaus. That shit will haunt you for a year lol. Plus, I added almost $100,000 in debt so that didn't help either. Hopefully next year it starts to go back up.

I'm only 20, I live in jersey, I don't expect to be able to move out anytime soon, probably around 24 I'll hopefully have a real career and some money saved. I can't even build credit right now because my bank apparently confused me with my father and put a home equity line of credit under my name which destroyed my credit. Can't get a credit card with my bank until 21 either so all I've got is a kohls card lol. If your area is somewhat affordable you could probably move out relatively easily, NJ is just expensive af
