That was my conundrum as well, but the AT is fine.

    Just the basics
Wow what a thread. That break bitch fest was tough to get through...hence many pages skipped.

Funny how people are pissed about the LED tails. The 2nd gen didn't get them for five years. I knew Toyota would put LEDs on the 3rd gen. I am surprised they didn't wait a bit longer. Wish they would put the foldable bench back in the AC. That's why I got one from a totalled 08 and put it in my 09.Blacked out headlights will probably come on line too...just like they did for the 2nd gens. But that was here and there with different packages. The 5th gen T4R had a facelift I think in the 2nd year of release. Tail lights changed too. Toyota just does wacky shit sometimes.

Couple comments after reading most of this thread. I'm sure color choices could be broken down by state or region. I'm in socal and see QS all the time. Happy to see the Cement coming to the regular paint offerings. Kinda on the fence about the Calvary Blue but it will sell in the pro. QS at first was a questionable color and they put it in the 4R Pro too. I read one comment about 3rd gens and their problems as if it were a new thing. 2nd gens have their own fair share of issues. Some shared. The driveline vibe sucks and it is amazing that Toyota isn't able to solve it.

Sorry in advance for the new'ish question.

If I'm looking at a 2018 Pro, leather / navigation, and possibly safety sense is an option, but no moon roof, correct ?

Probably not, but if you plan to put a rack on the top the moonroof ends up being a waste anyhow...

    I'm 6'5" I don't fit in a 3rd Gen with a moonroof...head hits frame of moonroof...

I'm not quite that tall (5'11).

I have a moon roof in my current ride ( Jeep Gr. Cherokee Overland), but I really don't use it that much.

Again, I'm fairly new to this, but it would seem that if I actually wanted Leather / Moon roof / Navigation in my Tacoma (please don't hate..lol), I'd lean more towards the Limited as opposed to the TRD ?

I think I *really* enjoy the hood scoop and looks of the PRO, but doubt I'd be doing much off-roading.

Hopefully we do get Entune 3.0; remote start would be awesome.

Any idea what Leather is supposed to be in the TRD OR as an option? Guessing just similar to pro interior without the badging?

Unfortunately no. Toyota stated during the Entune 3.0 announcement that only newer vehicles (2018 models and beyond) would have it. At the moment it's exclusive only to the 2018 Camry.

I wonder if you can put one in a 17. I really like the foldable bench in my 05, and don't care much for the seats in the current AC.

So what is the deal with Entune 3.0? Is it supposed to be better than the previous versions? I seem to recall a lot of people saying Entune sucks.

I would sure hope a new version would be, so yes it will be better if they decide to add it.

I don't think people will say it's better than 2.0, but it has more features. I think the two biggest ones are phone controls and mobile wifi hotspot. You can remote start, lock and unlock doors and see if the alarm has been set off. For the mobile wifi, you can just make it so passengers can connect to an in car wifi system.

The ONLY thing I want want out of Entune is to be able to run Waze. Everything else can pretty much fuck off. Who needs Yelp or Facebook on their trucks? Assholes. That's who. Assholes need Facebook on their truck.

True. I wish you could individually remove apps from Entune. I don't need all that garbage. I mean, Stocks, seriously? Pandora is pretty much the only one I use.
