My guess: You can't stop the ECU from leaning but if the ECU learning can only choose from customized throttle and shifting maps you have effectively nullified the learning.

 

Where's a good babblefish when you need to decipher meaning from tuners?

 

Man you are a horrible influence.. this would be nice just for the shear fact that my transmission drives me crazy with how clunky it is...

 

Now that you're in the thread, you'll never be allowed to leave without handing over your wallet! ...seriously though, the tune reduces so much of the craziness of this truck even in the tune's early stages. And OVtune is on the heels of the holy grail of the shifting mess in the ATs... Best mod I've done for my truck

 

That is what seems to happen whenever I get tricked into a thread.. my imaginary money seems to disappear and new toys show up at my house! ha ha. Reading through the thread it seems that most agree with you, anything to get my transmission to perform even slightly better would make me a happy camper

Rev hang?

 

Mushy/delayed throttle is still a thing (although greatly improved with the tune), along with power delivery in certain circumstances. I'm confident Mat will get it fixed though!

Yes rev hang too... sigh, waiting for the deniers to downplay. Meh

Edit: Some M/T owners have the "stutters" too, but I understand that's something Mat can easily fix in the tune file if you let him know.

BTW he sent me 101b which I'm loading up after work today.. HYYYYYPE!

 

I was debating between auto/man. I went with auto! The manual would have took too long and it didn’t have all the bells and whistles

Im ready for some better shifting. It was 100 outside yesterday and during my drive home my truck was not feeling happy, quite sluggish actually. I could feel a loss of some power and the shifting in low rpms didnt help

 

Are you still using 1.02?
