Don't want to distract from the AMAZING efforts underway to resolve one of the biggest pain points us AT owners experience with the shifting, but am curious.

@OVTune as you know for a subset of us, the 1.02a/b release didn't perform as well as 1.01b. While this MAY indeed be mostly related to shifting, given the fact that 1.02b applied the same shifting as 1.01b I can only assume the adjustments to intake/exhaust were the source of the issues. Are you anticipating any further refinements to those areas as part of your 1.02c release or is the plan at present to simply apply the shifting changes on top of 1.02b? Not a big deal either way, but am curious whether I should expect to try the new 1.02c release or wait until you've gotten datalogging nailed down and can do some custom stuff to dial in those adjustments?

I certainly WANT optimized and smoothed out intake / exhaust that were at the core of the 1.02b release but in their initial form they seemed incompatible with my truck based on the roughness and lugging I felt with that release.

Again, running 1.01b successfully and it's 10x better than stock - even though it does seem to want to hover slightly rich at .99 lamda at idle/cruise vs. 1.00 stock.

Since you receive a tune file back after you send in the stock file I might wait for 102c before install.
Hopefully there will be positive feedback in the meantime....
    All looks promising so far.

I agree on the rev hang and the stutters. I had a MT 16 and hated that. Sure the MT are fun to drive but I ended up trading that back for another AT. Don't hear that often I know but I for one, while do agree there needs to be some adjustment, don't see all the fuss on the engine/transmission combo. People should have seen how it was during the test drive in my opinion and not just jumped on it because it was the new thing. Plus my MT was a sport. I wanted the OR but saw that you lost most of the OR features with the MT. This time I went with the AT OR.

Took mine a couple hundred miles to develop the premature upshift, stutter, hesitations, etc. The truck ran scared when I first bought it.

I got the MT one used with about 12k miles on it. It's bad habits were already there but with my granny shifting during the test drive, 5 month old son was in the backseat, I didn't get a chance to fully unleash and see what it was all about. I would have kept it honestly because it wasn't all that bad once you learned everything about it. It came from up north and didn't realize that pretty much every body mount, bushing, front end piece was corroded and/or rusted. It started developing some strnage sounds and once I saw everything and how quickly it got worse since when I got it I just didn't trust putting my family in it.

    our plan with 1.02C is
    - refined shifting
-clean up / remove any stuttering issues
    - condense 1.01B / 1.02 / 1.02B all into 1 file with beautiful shifting and no issues for any users.

    (for automatics)

we will need to do an entirely different 1.02(B) for manuals

Sounds like we just found the genie and there are our 3 wishes... I have no idea how on earth you can accomplish all of that with one release, but that's why you do what you do and I am a customer :) good luck with testing and finalizing the release! solid progress!
