To be fair, she hasn't used it yet. I've been doing all my camping with buddies or solo. She will be happy when we go to the Festy Music Festival in October and she doesn't have to share a porta-potty with 5,000 folks who spent all day drinking beer and eating stuff from food trucks :drunk:

We have ours in the back of the tigermoth. Just pull off to side of road, she jumps in the back and uses it then back on road. No more public bathrooms. We love it. I am working on a way to secure it so doesn't slide around. Right now just have some other stuff on floor wedging it to prevent movement

@geoff325 has the rtt win his but not in those pictures above ask him about it. Warren has a bunch of different stuff you could look at a woolly bear by taxa, an A liner, or some of the other stuff he has some great options not just the tigermoth

Before I use mine again I will put a middle reinforcement bar on. The front bar sagged with weight but I think will be fine reinforced.

IDK how much wiggle you get out of it when it's set up with only the 2 rear stabalizers and the trailer jack. I added the front ones and when all 4 are deployed there's almost no movement

Remember he doesn't just have the Tiger Moth for an off road camper we has a couple of different trailers with rtt's and a couple of different small campers as well. It was the construction of the TM that sold me to be honest. IDK but I don't think I've seen a manufactured camper that is set up as ideally for the type of camping we want to do and deffinately not built as heavily as this one is. It was money well spent to me and the returns are priceless. To me there is no denying the construction but as in most things how you like the appearance, features, or how it suits your needs are personal and subjective. Spend that money man they make it every day!

Unfortunately, we had a funeral to attend so I had to put it off. Maybe this weekend or I might just go camping instead.

Talked to Warren for a bit yesterday on the phone. My biggest concern was whether or not the A/C unit is removable. He said that was the original intent, but Taxa had some issues and now it really isn't. Any of you folks with the A/C ever try to take it out?

I have not. Do you mean like remove it for the winter or something and have a window or just remove all together?

I have thought about removing it all together and installing a window big enough to cut out where the holes are. Maybe install a heater/ ac combo with n the tongue but I don't think it necessary rt now

Yup, remove it for the winter and replace with the original window. The model I'm looking at doesn't have A/C and Road Trip Camping said they could install the Taxa supplied kit, but I only want it in when I need it. I'll probably just go without and steal your idea and look into a tongue mounted solution later.

Yeah because once they drill all the holes to mount the bracing they're there. If I put a window back in I'll have to get a bigger one so I can cut the hole larger to get rid of all the mounting holes
