Credit isn't necessary for a home loan, or any other kind.

Cash assets get you further than a history of debt (credit).

Also.. live at home as long as you can handle it, or your parents can handle it. The fastest way to save is not to spend, so the longer you're living rent free the better off you're going to be. Even if you're paying your parents rent or helping out with utilities/groceries/etc,.. if you're spending $300 a month instead of $900, it's a winning situation.

    I disagree.

I couldn't qualify for a lot of the "first time homebuyer" programs local banks offered because essentially I had too much money saved. Biggest thing is keeping your debt to income ratio down and your credit score up.

There's a difference between games a bank plays and adulting for the rest of someone's life. The only lender who would disqualify you out of a federal program you're eligible for is one that is shady.

Well there's a difference too in federal programs and what a bank can offer. All banks will offer a FHA mortgage, only some will customize their lending and create specific products for specific people. I qualified for FHA and ended up going that route (although I didn't really want to due to paying PMI but that's another story).

    FHA sucks, but it works.

    I have it also.

They all suck. The only way to avoid paying out the ass is have cash in hand and pay in full.

When I got my diploma and moved across the country to live on campus at college. Got a job, got a taco, got a dog. All that's left is the girl. ;)

My stock Toyota battery has almost 90k on it, two Michigan winters, and three Nebraska winters. It still works flawlessly but I don't want to push my luck this winter. I'm looking to replace. Was going to go with another stock Toyota battery but figured I'd ask here if there were any better options.

I hear Interstate batteries are particularly good. Not sure of the price difference though.

Thanks everyone.. I'm going to try to stay here a little bit longer, maybe try to get a job at front runner.

I've ran Interstate on all vehicles for probably 20 years.

    Would recommend.

What else do you need :D .... besides maybe a cute blonde on in the passenger seat . How's having a supercharged 2.7 anyways? Never meet a guy with one before...
A jeep huh... on a Toyota forum :cookiemonster:
Nah I like jeeps, they're pretty cheap wheelers if you're willing to do the work yourself.... unless you're like my friend and pay a shop to bring a old grand cherokee barely back to life :anonymous: then shit gets expensive

I didn't know cats liked walks or the beach. You learn something new everyday, I guess.
