    255/85/16s don't have a big enough impact on fuel economy to deter someone from getting 33s on their truck in the easiest way possible, IMO.

    There's a link in my sig to a thread full of information on that size in a variety of tires. I'm currently running KM2s with no issues and about 2 mpg loss, and will probably switch to the ST Maxx's for my next set for a little better on-road manners. The KM's are beasts in the mud but I can kick the back end out like an 86 on a road that's even a little wet. For the added capability and IMO great stance, that mpg loss is completely worth it, especially when the fuel economy sucks anyway

    I'm not sure the exact weight difference but it is significant ... the KM2 mounted on the steel feels like its almost twice as heavy as the Goodyears on the alloy.

    My truck is a 6-speed manual ...
