I grew up in the Ketchikan area. I would totally move back and live there, but no jobs for my field.

 

How long was the boat ride?

 

I had an ipad mini in my truck, using a Ram Mount Xgrip to hold it to the tech deck. Broke the ipad mini, and now I have a 9.7" ipad. Whats are people using to mount these to say a tech deck?

I use a ram mount, with their "Tab-Tite" cradle.

 

I also use a tab-tite cradle for a 10" tablet. Works great.

 

That’s the type I was looking for, but can only find it with accessories that I don’t need. Have an Amazon link?

Not sure if I want to spend $200 on a firepit... but looks pretty sweet.

Plus you have to have the thing charged for it to even be able to work right.

Still a cool idea though, would be nice if you could use it to charge devices when not in use though or something.

 

Oh man that sure does sound like our world today. "I really want to have a campfire but I sure hate smoke." People are a joke. Good on them for marketing to a bunch of pussies.

 

Some of the places around here won't allow open wood fires but will allow propane fire pits

 

This product doesn't fit into they category though.

 

If you need air injected into your fire than you built your fire wrong.

If fact I would bet that it causes you to need twice as much wood for the same amount of burn time.

 

I just went back and watched it no thanks the smoke is part of the fun

 

I thought about making one similar to the one in the link provided...much easier to just put out the cash unless you have a drill press.

Yea does look kinda neat and all but still I'd rather go the conventional way of having a camp fire.

But still I could see this being useful for other outings.

 

An old clothes washer drum works just as good and you can get them pretty much for free.

 

All I know is that the best part of a camp fire is moving your seat about 30 times when the wind changes a little bit and you have to dodge the smoke...

 

We're looking at Dometic cfx35 refrigerators to go with the truck and camper. We've received good feed back from those who use them with the Tigwr Moths does anybody know the best place to get them. I've already found a zamp solar dealer to help me with power needs but I want to have all I'm going to run off it before I get the panels so looking st fridge now.
