Why don't you just order straight from http://www.fumotooildrainvalve.com/ they offer free shipping and there products are usually priced less than they are on Amazon. I use the one with the short nipple F103S. It clears the skid plate on my TRD O/R and you can put a hose on it to drain the oil through the plate.

Man I've wanted one of these for a while but scared of either vandals or hitting it on something and draining all my oil. Really stupid fears I guess, especially since I likely wouldn't miss a giant puddle of oil somewhere. I think I'm going to pull the trigger since I have an oil change this weekend as well.

Ah fuck, that thing. Well, I started out with a cheap bar because I figured I'd roll the dice. Used the mounting bracket arms that came with it and drilled a couple holes in the crash cans inside the bumper. Stuck brass expansion nuts down into those but never really got it as tight as I wanted and it felt loose. Placement was cool because it was a spot only and I liked it tuck in the back. One rain and one week later about 1/3 of it burned out so I ripped it out and sent it back to Amazon. Ordered this bar to install and had to cut the lower valence up quite a bit with a dremel to flush it to the front of the bumper for the floods to work. I drilled directly into the front crash bar itself and since it's hollow I could nut and bolt that Bad Larry in place. It has "security brackets" that require two screws to mount it so it shouldn't get stolen since nobody can access anything useful other than the very front screws. The light output is way more scattered and focused with this bar and I'm happy with it. Gonna have to yellow tint it and maybe throw some mesh over it because I don't like it being so out front. Haven't even taken a picture yet.

Installed on my prerunner. So far so good, only had to remind it to stop giving me so much horsepower a couple times. Had to get out of the office and snap a photo. 20170920_125517.jpg

I'll have to post my mount when I redo mine. My first bit ended up unleveled.

Looks like nothing a couple washers couldn't fix! Did you use angle iron?

Not sure what that is lol

    But thanks to google images.

I used pre existing holes to drop down a couple 4 inch bars then mounted the light to those.

    InkedliveebSU2t_LI.jpg

the spacing however doesn't work out great since the bars don't drop straight down, and some other parts in that area obstruct my ability to get it level.

You have to twist the valve a certain way to open it and it looks like it would be damn near impossible for it to open by accident.

Ah gotcha. Thought maybe you used angle iron like others have to mount it behind the grill. It's the metal brackets most commonly used when hanging garage door openers and overhead storage in garages. I bet you could throw some washers in between the nuts and bolts you used there to space it out some and get it even. Really like the idea of mounting there!

Daggum traction button has been acting weird, it turns everything off like I've held it down every time I start and I can't cycle it out. Disconnected and no issue. Opened it up to see if there was corrosion or something I could fix and small jumper type metal piece seems to have come loose. I tried placing it back in (doesn't connect to anything, just rests on top of some grease it looks like) but same symptoms. Anyone know more technical detail on the pin position inside this little bastard? Really don't want to buy a new switch to replace it but hoping to avoid the trial and error of testing every pin combo if someone has dealt with this before.

Where did you get the seal and O-Ring? Here in NorCal, all the dealers will not sell me a seal due to they are being prioritized for the Turd Gen axle recall. Called 4 dealers already and same thing...

    A thing or two...
Just get the part number and look it up online. There are plenty of places that will sell you factory parts cheaper than the dealerships.
