Thanks! Just about to order headlights, also waiting on Homer's list for a new grille. Patience, patience...

I really REALLY need to paint my rear bumper. Or bedliner it or pastiderp it or something to cover up the damn chrome. I get jealous of prerunners over it, haha!

Outside for the exhaust tip, that was the last bit of chrome on my truck. Couple cans of derp, super easy. Looks WAAAAY cleaner!

    100% agreed.

If I didn't have the project of painting my steel plate front bumper that's sitting in my garage currently on tap then I'd be looking to cover that chrome in the back ASAP.

No other vehicles are designed with chrome bumpers anymore but somehow it's okay for trucks? I guess because nostolgia? It's either getting painted on mine or I'm going to sack up and get an HC rear because that shit is annoying, especially on a silver truck.

Post pics when you get the bumper on. I've been through the entire "bumper thread" trying to decide what to do, but it'll have to wait. Cost is one thing, plus I have yet to do any SERIOUS wheeling. I just have a 3"-2" leveling lift (spacers/AAL) so the added weight also means new suspension. Man, these first-world problems...

Yeah,5 years ago I thought spending $1400 on coil overs for a truck was just ridiculous. Now i go trail riding at least every few weeks, and my list of stuff i want is still really long! I love it though, its a fun pastime and hobby. Hell I'm shopping for gears and lockers now, then bumpers later on. It never ends, but its fun as hell.

The same shit everyone else has.
Chrome > painted, especially on a silver truck.

I was actually just thinking about what a tan soft top would look like on silver today. I like it, looks nice. Some darker wheels would set it off better though i think.
