Toyota sales UP 40%!

I heard today that Toyota sales are up 30-50% (depending on where you look)
Take that government owned motor company!

That's really great! I know people still buying Toyota and err Honda. I had bad experience with Chevolet and I am not going back again! Used to have Subaru and not bad car. Had my new truck since August and 15,500 miles with no problem.

When I was buyin my truck there where tons of people looking at new toyotas and this was back about 2 weeks after everything blew up in toyotas face, and when I went in a week later to pickup my truck the salesman said most of the people he had to call about the recall didn't care or just wante it fixed but where not all freaked
out about it personally I love my taco

Yea I think its funny that even with all the bad publicity, toyota is still doing very good in sales

They offer incentives and look what happens?

Toyota never offers incentives, until their asses are on the line.....

 

True , but looks like it's working. I was thinking the other day that they are doing that to be ready for any major law suit that might be heading there way!!

 

The media fukkes up everything.

 

They've never had to. Their vehicles sold well enough on their own without suckering people in unlike domestic brands.

Have any of you guys thought that it's possible that government motors(GM) tried to blow the recall crap up to help their biz? It wouldn't surprise me one bit.

 

up from what ? from previous months ? i would hope there sales would be up
from previous months, b/c there was a short stint there where they could
not sale anything. i love toyota, but that statistic is a little misleading.
