.06 is roughly 1/16" inch, that's pretty thin.

Anyone have any experiences with the new powerstrokes? Or the recent f150s?

6.7, I am working on a new proposal for a new work truck/personal truck and I really like the new f250. F150 (either motor), 6.2 chev and duramax have all been considered as well but I just kinda like the ford more I think. Tundra was on list but is in a far 3rd place. And for the work aspect a tacoma is to small, if I keep the work truck then maybe a new tacoma can happen.

I guess just how the new motor has been, any general quirks or nice aspects of the new model. My friend has a one of the first few years of the 6.7 and had turbo issues. I have heard good and bad. But seems like a solid all around build to me.

    Chevy!

But good call on the Tundra... I don't see how anyone sees it stronger than any of the competition in any field. Other than being a Toyota and supposedly more reliable. And the money you'll waste on the poor gas mileage it gets will far outweigh the resale difference.

We have an 11 and a 14 and they both have around 130k on them, they are very good engines, comparing to a 7.3 the turbo response is amazing! They get up and go, we have not had turbo issues on either of them, the only thing we have had besides common maintenance is the 11 came from the factory with the valves being 1/4 to tall, ford replaced everything though so there was no issues with that. All and all a very good engine and with what im hearing its going to out last the 7.3

My uncle had the previous gen f250/350, one with the known engine problems. 3rd engine before 90k and Ford told them they couldn't guarantee that they'd warranty it (only like 15k since the last new engine they put in)... Shitty service knowing it was a design issue. The truck looked new (very well taken care of and only towed a toy hauler a little bit).

It's what I know and have had personal great experience with. :p

And GM will be the next work truck since Toyota won't keep up.
