I don't think so. I was just messing with you - maybe duct tape on both sides! :D

Well I didn't end up washing the truck. My story was I was mountain biking and it broke Down. They really didn't ask me questions, just what was wrong with it. I have a feeling he might deny me though at which point I'll have to call corporate and start bitching up a storm. He was telling me that it may be the diff or tranny or both. And that a job of that magnitude requires Toyota Corp to send a tech down to check it out and determine warranty qualification. sounds like he was setting it up so if it's denied he could easily say there's nothing he could do about it. Well see though.

He said he'll call me by the end of the day with details

    :fingers crossed:

    LMAO.

yea I'll givem a call around 1-2 to see what's up. There's no "if they don't fix it" though, they're going to fix period. There's no way i'm forking out money for a new tranny. Gears, maybe. My truck will have to sit for a while til I van rack up some cash but at least the gears will eliminate something on my mod list, there's no tranny on my mod list.

IMO Not bad at all - the only problem that I had was replacing my brake lines (longer ss ones I picked up from AP). Let me know and I'll help you. I did both of mine solo - It would have been easy with 2 ppl.

Do a 'group buy' from East Coast Gear Supply - 5 year warranty - not bad! They ship you the 3rd in a paint bucket. You swap yours out and send the core back. Someone in SoCal hosed him on a two cores so I think he may start to charge a core charge. But even still, pretty painless - Oh yeah, IIRC he pays the freight and was very helpful answering my questions over the phone. If I were to do it again, I would do it the same way and the same gear ratio.

That's what I have and the companies that manufacture 4.56s are pretty limited.

LOL. Until I can save up some cash. Im on my phone so typing is a pain. Got no internet at my new place yet.

I think A group buy on gears would be sweet. Im in if we can get 90% off. LOL.

Paul: Elaborate please. Should I just go in (in the future) and ask what techs and their qualifications are available? Or is their a way to check this out online? Good idea BTW.

Paul, when you said you did both, you mean front and rear diffs right? Because your 4x4?
