THX Ken. I have been busy doing a lot of stuff, LOL, this summer. My sons graduation, vacation and helping my son with his handyman business has kept me quite busy.

    You are quite welcome.

I do believe you would enjoy working with some old dudes doing this kind of job. Lots of comraderie while traveling back and forth. Sometimes we travel to or from a destination individually in vehicles and sometimes several travel in one vehicle. Either way it is all good.

    Morning all:
Ever wonder why your auto insurance is high!
Was just reading an article where a 2017 Corvette was totaled because of 1" of damage on a certain part of the frame. Seems that the owner ran over something that caused a 1" crack in a part of the frame that is not available as a replacement part. If it were to be welded, GM is saying the warranty would be voided. My first thought would be why don't they just replace the whole frame, definitely would be cheaper than totaling the whole car.

:annoyed:Been 4 weeks since I ordered the scope. The guy I ordered it from said that on Tues. the distributor that he ordered it from contacted him and that he now has them in stock. I could have had that scope in about 3 days from Amazon or maybe a week from ebay, sure glad I didn't need it ASAP! :(

Afternoon all.:hattip: Hows your head doing Duane? I can remember the day Carl when I didn't and wouldn't use a scope. Open sights good for 100 or so yards and the eyes for more. Then somewhere along the line, old age eye sight set in. Bought a scope and haven't shot a deer yet:facepalm:. Gave up hunting years ago but maybe someday again.

My skull is still healing. Have felt much better from this last Wednesday on.
Got mad at my tablet, a cable came loose, more worried about online auctions ending and my inability to be up to speed. Tech said I needed to not hit it.

Got one hospital bill, made arrangements to make small payments, no interest on $1600. Waiting for bills from the helicopter outfit, pre and post CT`s, image reader person, nursing home, pre-release CT. Maybe they are cheaper than MRI's. ? Insurance company sends me notices of approvals, but no $$$ amounts or who they are paying. Will have to see if i can log in somehow to their site.

Duane I know you got hit on the head and I know you are still healing. But you need to find a way to stay on top of the money part of this. My wife has found error after error in her medical bills from a recent accident. The poor jerks at the insurance company and the hospital will not necessarily do right by you. You have to do it for yourself or get someone you trust to help.

You are in our thoughts and wishes. Can't wait to hear about the next stove confab. :)

Was thinking the same thing Duane! No actual experience with hospital bills, but what Dave is telling you I have also heard from others.

    Morning all,

X2 on what Dave and Carl said Duane. The whole billing process from hospital to insurance company is a cluster F#%k. Check everything over real good.

@Cypherian thanks for dropping in and checking up on us old timers :D. Let me hang out the sign for you.

My Sister-in-law suggested I get a copy of the billing. Before I pay much more, I'm going to do that and from the nursing facility. Two people have suggested negotiating the bill also. I could pay my portion of the one hospital bill, but don't want to be low on cash, plus want to see the billing. Worried insurance won't pay the local hospital bill since they only called in the helicopter.

    Morning all:
    :bored: :playball:

:yay: Scope finally came yesterday, got it mounted and now need to hit the range to sight it in when I get time!
Archery opens next Sat., walleyes should start hitting soon, grass needs mowing, need to switch tires, need to install wings on the jet foot, need to put new gaskets on the coal stove:goingcrazy: !

Just got a letter from my dentist, he's retiring and he sold the business. :(
Looks like I will now be going to Dr. Hiteshkuma Nada and Dr. Jignesh Patel for now, as long as I like them I will stay with them.
The old Doc. is a pleasant guy and I believe he was fair with his patients, I considered him a pretty good dentist plus I liked him!
Somehow I see a price increase coming since the new dentists also do implant and invisalin Orthodonic treatment and are more specialized than he was. :(:( Will see!
