FYI - if you pay with your credit card through Paypal, and do not use "send money to friends/family", you will qualify for both Paypal purchase protection and your credit card's purchase protection if your card offers it.

Straight from Paypal website:

"If you used a debit or credit card as the payment method for a transaction through your PayPal account and you are dissatisfied with the transaction, you may be entitled to dispute the transaction with your card issuer. Your rights with your card issuer, if they apply, may be broader than those available to you under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program. For example, if you dispute a transaction with your card issuer, you may be able to recover amounts you paid for unsatisfactory items even if they don’t qualify for protection under a Significantly Not as Described claim with us.

You must choose whether to pursue a dispute with PayPal under our Purchase Protection program, or to pursue the dispute with your card issuer. You can’t do both at the same time or recover your money from both PayPal and your card issuer. If you pursue a dispute/claim with us and you also pursue a dispute for the same transaction with your card issuer, we’ll close your dispute/claim with us. This won’t affect the dispute process with your card issuer. In addition, if you pursue a dispute with your card issuer, you cannot pursue a dispute/claim with us later.

If someone wants to pay through PayPal for goods n services rather than friends n family, how much do they need to pay over the net amount? I ask this because not everyone is a mathematical genius. It would be good to break down each item by both. This way there are no goof ups and you're not tracking down someone for the extra cash.

I know he wrote down what to do, bit I mean to spell it out clearly as we are not all great at Maths. So instead of saying annex is $87, put down that annex is $87 through friends n family payment, and $89.823 for goods n services. Get it? Just want to make sure everyone is crystal fucking clear on what they are obligated to pay.

 

Take your total order (tent with or without annex) x .0029 + .30.

That math equation is not working out for me lol. How much for a small tent with annex and the PayPal goods and services added on please. I don't want to send the wrong amount

Should be $xxx.xx (total amount of order) X 0.029

Then you would add $0.30 to that amount, which would = the total fee amount.

 

EDIT: I thought $568.80 included the fees???

If my math is right for Paypal Goods & Services:

Tent: $564
Annex: $87
_______________________________

=$651 x .029 = $18.88
_______________________________

=$669.88 + $.30 = $670.18 (TOTAL)

I believe tent is more
