Poison any of that shit is awful. I used some stuff called Ivy Dry whenever I got into that shit back east. Between that and Benadryl it helped.

I can give you a hand next week with the shop no problem. If you need a hand during the week let me know before 5 and I'll come straight over from work.

Jason... I feel for you man! I lived in Sacramento area for a couple of years and got PO really bad a few times from mountain biking. I totally understand your pain and frustration. That shit sucks the big one! I got to the point where I was paranoid to go mountain biking because I was afraid to get it again. I wish you the best in ridding yourself of the PO residue and getting your shop set up! I'll be using your services sometime after you get settled in!

I can use the help anytime you have it, Im burning the candle at both ends and its rough! But it is what it is!
I can use your help today through next week anytime you are available that would be huge!

I have been doing 95% of all the work on the house because although my wife is ambitious she doesnt know much about construction stuff so it almost makes it hard to work when I have to keep her busy, and the fact that I micromanage the shit out of her has to make her want to strangle me!!! I think she is about ready for a vacation away from me, lol.

Awesome Dirk, if you get bored come on over too, come see how far its come
And yeah this PO shit sucks sooo bad, but cant let it slow me down, however I can say its doing its best to do so!
Having it on over 75% of my body makes it tough, lol!

cold water helps a lot, but that's only after the initial contact. The hot water opens your pores up and that oil soaks right in. unfortunately, it's going to pop up a lot in your future on tools you've touched, boots you warn, even any part of the house or out side that you leaned up against. I've been saying for years instead of dropping bombs in the Middle East we just drop bushels of poison oak.

SO, a question, does anyone know of what the best mounting system is for mounting a Tuff Stuff Delta Rooftop Tent on top of a Snug top shell.
Here is the truck in question, she's a friend of mine (works for Dirtrider Magazine), really cool chick that rides dirtbikes.

    Dirtrider?! Cool!

I'd say the best bet would be to make or get a crossbar system from a company like Thule/Yakima/INNO/Rhino Rack...

You'll need to check the weight rating of the shell, and of course the weight rating of the crossbars. The tent itself is ~116# (same tent Madison got)

Yeah on initial exposure cold is best, let the soap/tecnu do the work and carry the oils off of you and your equipment instead of letting it soak into your skin. Now that you've had it for a while I'm not sure if hot/cold makes a difference. Tecnu is supposed to help relieve some of the itching, so you could still try it, but if you have any open sores or anything I don't think you're supposed to get it in those. The last time I had it really badly I tried an oat bath, which seemed to help. I don't remember what it was but some sort of oatmeal something or other designed for baths.

I actually got a steroid shot that time, too, in addition to the prednisone tabs. I think that helped the most, so see if you can get that. Good luck, man, I don't think I've ever had it as bad as you've got it. Can't even imagine 75% of my body covered in PO!

Looks like she already has the rack tracks on the roof. Should be able to use either Yakima or Thule components to mount the tent to.

I was making love to the Oak for 2 days and touched about everything! I am going to take a rag with Alcohol and wipe the shit out of everything! Its been well over a week now and I am itching so bad I look like a fucking tweeker! And it seems like my left eyelid has it pretty bad because my eye has been swollen since day 1!
I am seriously looking into goats...

But yes If we could drop bumps that blew Sumac/PO into a 3 mile radius our enemies would be severely compromised (Well at least 85% would since 15% are immuned) They would be too busy itching to fight, lol.

I imagine the dropping poison oak will cross the Geneva convention's outline of "use of chemical warfare" during war. Hope for a swift recovery Jason.
