Always easy to find a private space there.
Jemez Falls Campground is more popular.

Exactly, love that campground because of that. But this time was the first time I had been there with it to ourselves, literally didn't have another camper till late Wednesday night. Was awesome!

Got out this past weekend to overnight at a spot I found a few years back. It's in Northern Ontario, Canada behind Capreol, and it sits on a nice little burbling river. Its about 3-4km of trail driving off a logging road.

You can see the trail coming through from the top middle where the road would be. A little narrow in some places, but totally manageable.

Actually had a guy in a polaris side by side drive up while I was camping, he said he was shocked to see a truck this far in the bush. Hahah

Anyway, shortly after a friend joined me in his jeep and had to ruin the scenery.... if you know what I mean. Haha

Got caught in a small thunder shower that night, but cleared up quick and the sky opened up to show a plethora of stars. Temperature was perfect, and due to a recent cold snap, there were almost no bugs.

The next morning I made a hearty breakfast

Before we hit the trail to head home

I would really like to get set up with a fibreglass cap or RTT for ease of setup. I know many places like this, but I am just about over tent camping.

Over all a great weekend, and will be heading back out soon!

Pretty cool soak and poke. Copper tube for coil, some hose and a 12v pump.
